Making Media at The Bishop's Palace

I am currently on a 30-hour work experience course here at The Bishop's Palace that I need to do as part of my media course that I am studying in Bath College. I chose here because I always used to come here as a kid to feed the pigeons out on the moat and I really like the look and feel of old buildings with historic value. I also chose here as I knew it would be a rather relaxed and low-pressure place to work while also still teaching me how a proper business works.
I have really enjoyed working here so far as I have been learning how The Bishop’s Palace sends out its different forms of media that they put out on their social media platforms and what programs they use to create it. I have also learned about how they send out all their emails to the “Friends of the Palace” members and how they set the places where you buy tickets from. My favourite bits of this course so far have been all the practical stuff like recording interviews using zoom recorders, editing the recordings on the computer and taking photographs of different things in the palace as those are my favourite things in the media subject.
I think that this course has been really enjoyable so far and I am looking forward to doing the rest of it.
